It was far from a vintage Steph Curry performance on Friday night as the Golden State Warriors suffered a 115-107 loss against the Houston Rockets at Chase Center.
The Rockets entered Game 6 down 3-2 in the series, and a loss only meant that it was going to be the end of the line for them. Houston wasn\’t ready to go home just yet, and they have now kept their season alive after staving off elimination for a second straight game.
Curry finished the loss with 29 points on 9-of-23 shooting and 6-of-16 from three-point territory. He added seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 42 minutes of action. It wasn\’t a terrible performance by any means, but it just wasn\’t enough to get the Warriors over the hump.

Speaking in the post-game press conference, Warriors star Draymond Green was asked by reporters about the heavy burden Curry will carry heading into Game 7 on Sunday.
The former Defensive Player of the Year got brutally honest with his response as he expressed how much confidence he and the rest of the team have in their superstar point guard.
“We look to him to do something special every night for the last 13 years I\’ve been here,” Green said of Curry. “I don\’t think it\’s any different.”
This will be far from the first time Curry will play in a pivotal Game 7 matchup. He\’s been in this position in the past, and the former back-to-back MVP knows exactly what he has to do.
Green played alongside Curry for more than a decade now, and they have been through all sorts of ups and downs through the years. Green knows very well what Curry is capable of, and he expects nothing less than a special performance from Curry come Sunday.
