Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry‘s playoff journey didn’t go as expected, as a hamstring injury kept him from competing during the Wester Conference semifinals.

While Curry revealed “everything was aligned” for him to return to play in Game 6, the Minnesota Timberwolves eliminated Golden State in Game 5.

“I will take full advantage of the offseason, though,” the 37-year-old told reporters. “Been playing a lot of basketball for the last year, and a lot left in the tank to prepare for, so, I’m excited about it.”

Curry’s father, Dell Curry, made it clear his son has no plans to retire soon and could keep playing into his 40s.

He still loves the game,” Dell told RG on June 16. “He’s a competitive guy. He wants to win another title, so we’re not even close to that window yet. But when the time comes, I think he’ll make the right decision.”

During the offseason, Curry also plans to spend quality time with his wife, Ayesha Curry, and their four kids, Riley, Ryan, Cannon, and Caius.

Ayesha sent the four-time NBA champion a sweet message on Father’s Day. She posted a tribute on Instagram, “The best and then some. We love @stephencurry30 so much!!! The best dad in the world.

“Our babies are obsessed and in awe of him (as am I) and it is such a blessing to watch. He’s really something special and there’s no other way to say it. Happy Father’s Day to my @stephencurry30.”

Ayesha, a cookbook author and CEO of the lifestyle brand, Sweet July, is successful in her own right. She shares some exciting personal news with fans on June 17.
