It’s nearly that time of year. While eight teams remain in the NBA Playoffs, that number will be down to four within a week. With the conference finals on the horizon, there will be 26 teams focused on the offseason. The NBA Draft, free agency, trades (which no longer seem to have boundaries after the Luka Doncic debacle) and more will headline a busy offseason, which many predict to have heavy player movement. The Golden State Warriors, who landed Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline, could be aggressive. They have a chance at a final run with Stephen Curry — regardless of their current result — and they’ll need to go all in on making moves. A couple of big fish seem to be available on the trade market, too. The obvious needle-mover is Kevin Durant, who the Warriors nearly landed at the deadline. Milwaukee Bucks superstar, multi-time MVP and NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo might just be available, too. Sam Amick of The Athletic recently noted that Antetokounmpo and Curry could have some ties, too. “Giannis and Steph, it should be noted, are both represented by the same Octagon agency. Still, it was a Warriors-centric event with one notable, and very large, exception,” Amick reported.

He’d essentially have to request a trade to the Warriors — the reason being his ties with Curry — withthe Bucksgranting that wish.Given what the Greek superstar gave the club and city, they’d likely be open to granting his wish to some extent.Antetokounmpo could help Curry and Butler lead the team in contention while extending their championship window.
