From the volcano climb to their dip in the blue lagoon, the Curry’s unleashed their inner daredevils!

When I think about vacation, what typically comes to mind is sunshine, beaches and laying out by the pool. Well, that’s not the type of getaway the Curry’s chose this time around. The couple recently headed north and explored the best that Iceland has to offer.

Stephen and Ayesha left the kids at home and spent some alone time “in the land of fire and ice.” How cute are they?

The sweet couple kept the flame. ironically, by going on a date on a glacier. They even drank 800-year-old glacier water, which Ayesha says was “delicious.”

After drying off and warming up a bit, they took things to higher heights. The Currys went hiking and explored the Thrihnukagigur – a dormant volcano that is one of Iceland’s most popular tourist attractions. This vaca is definitely not for the faint of heart!

Finally, what’s a trip to Iceland without a swim in the Blue Lagoon? The geothermal in southwestern Iceland is one of the 25 wonders of the world…not to mention excellent for the skin.
